Week 1: A Call to Action

Hello I am Nishi, currently pursuing my major in Biotechnology at Swinburne University of Technology. Greetings, esteemed readers, and welcome to my blog, which is only dedicated to fostering awareness regarding the imperilled fauna in Malaysia. As a passionate enthusiast of the natural world, I am profoundly troubled by the alarming rate at which our nation's distinctive and varied species are diminishing. The purpose of this blog is to provide insight into the dire circumstances confronting these remarkable beings and to promote collaborative endeavours aimed at safeguarding and preserving their existence.

Malaysia harbours a diverse range of endangered fauna, with notable species such as the Malayan tiger, orangutans, sun bears, and pygmy elephants. The persistent encroachment upon their habitats resulting from deforestation, illicit hunting, and the unlawful trade of animals has brought them perilously close to the point of extinction (Gauchan, 2021).

In order to captivate your attention, I will present compelling narratives, visually striking images, and engaging movies featuring these exceptional creatures. Through the strategic utilisation of visual stimuli that evoke emotional responses, my intention is to enhance your level of involvement and motivate you to disseminate my blog among your peers.

It is important to keep in mind that companies frequently assess the online presence of potential candidates. Therefore, utilising this chance to refine my writing abilities not only provides personal satisfaction but also enhances my marketability. In each submission, my primary objective will be to provide succinct yet enlightening material that engages the attention of my readership.

Let us collaboratively establish a constructive online presence that motivates everyone to take action and safeguards the continued existence of Malaysia's endangered species. Please anticipate the next entries in which I will conduct a more comprehensive exploration of the difficulties encountered by each endangered species and deliberate on prospective strategies for their preservation.
